About me
Biography
Jess Payne is a photographer in her final year of BA Photography at SODA,
School Of Digital Arts. Surrounded by artistic and creative family members,
her interests within the creatibve world started from a young age in art classes
and at home. Since joinng university her photographic practice is primerally
centered around portraiture, ranging from calssic headshots to fashion and
editorial work. While most of jess’ shoots take place in the studio, she’s always
open to working on location. With having extensive experience in Adobe
software including Photoshop and Lightroom Classic, and other software such
as Capture One. Jess’s work focuses on the digital outcomes that are occasionally
transformed into hand crafted books and magazines. Capturing her work using
digital cameras, she has experience in both Nikon and Canon systems.
Currently Jess' portfolio consists of work from her most recent projects
from her second and third year of study in university. Her most recent work
focuses on photographing women, representing alternative femininity within
fashion.
